About Us

Founder Bio

Neuranext founder Adrian Tyson is a fully qualified NSW teacher with extensive experience in business and teaching. Adrian started out working in a family automotive business that had operations across manufacturing, importing and services. As a teacher Adrian has taught across diverse settings including support classes, mainstream and gifted and talented classes.

Prior to developing Neuranext’s unique AI Education curriculum Adrian had developed Future Film Stars to teach students about narrative writing for the screen and practical filmmaking skills. Adrian had twice exhibited his films at Cannes and had competed at the St Kilda Film Festival and the Ritz’s Uncovered programs.

Having a long-held interest in technology and seeing the advances in Artificial Intelligence that were rapidly being made last decade, Adrian recognized that Australia’s students needed to learn about Artificial Intelligence as a matter of great urgency. He developed the program in league with specialists in A.I. and used his teaching expertise to communicate the abstract concepts of Artificial Intelligence to students in ways they could easily understand and most importantly see in action.

Adrian’s strong personal teaching philosophy is that for students to grasp and understand abstract concepts, they need to see it action, to probe the technology, to break it and test its limits in order to get a sense of how it’s working. To ensure this kind of experience Adrian has focused on bringing the cutting edge of A.I. and A.I. powered robotics into the classroom. From live computer vision where the students themselves are the data, to autonomous self-driving cars, A.I. powered drones and the latest in cutting-edge robotic dogs and humanoids.

As this program has developed Adrian has also forged strong relationships with the manufacturers of the A.I. powered robotics and now officially represents Unitree Robotics, Elephant Robotics, AgileX Robotics and Inspire Robots Dexterous Hands in the Australian market.

Adrian has been featured as an expert in A.I. education in The Australian newspaper, on The Today Show, in the Leader newspaper as well as been an expert panel member and speaker at Microsoft’s A.I. in Education panel and the New South Wales Smart Sensing Network’s Western Sydney Manufacturing Forum.

Adrian’s Neuranext programs have been hosted by Microsoft Store, ANSTO’s Discovery Centre, The Powerhouse Museum, Barker College, Liverpool Girls High, The Scots College, Chatswood High School, TAFE NSW’s Institute of Applied Technology as well as hundreds of other schools and venues.

Education

Neuranext goal is to spark student interest in and to inspire students to become active participants in the A.I. driven economy of the near future. Young people need to know what A.I.’s capabilities are across different modalities and how we may work with this technology into the future. For our Primary programs, our focus is on inspiring students to get more involved with STEM and for High School we provide a career-focused program that links students to ongoing learning and exposure to Industry partners who talk to students about the kind of jobs that will emerge as A.I. capability advances.

Robotics

Founder Adrian Tyson has had a keen interest in robotics as a casual observer for decades, noting the slow and painstaking progress over the years. Neuranext always wanted to bring A.I. powered robotics to our education programs as soon as they became feasible to do so. Neuranext has extensive experience operating Unitree Robotics on an almost daily basis since September 2022 and as a result has deep knowledge about the incredible reliability of Unitree robots but also the nuances of operation and troubleshooting.
